What becomes of authenticity and ownership in the age of AI?
My writing and thinking are ultimately my own, though inevitably shaped by the ideas, writing, and conversations of others – to which I make reference where applicable. I use large language models (Claude, GPT) to explore ideas, examine my thinking, check grammar and clarity (English is my second language), or produce rapid design prototypes.
I think critically about how AI — and the companies behind it — increasingly shape the relationship between citizens, public institutions, and the commons. With this AI disclosure statement I would like to encourage others to follow suit. Which LLMs do you use, and how do your AI buddies shape your work & thoughts?
