I live and work on unceded Coast Salish Territories, specifically of the lək̓ʷəŋən, Songhees, Esquimalt and W̱SÁNEĆ peoples. Many of our practices came to these lands through the ongoing process of dispossession and colonialism.
I seek to hold this understanding in my actions, interactions, reflexivity and engagement with this land and its people, attending to Right Relations, while knowing how colonial performances recentre whiteness.
